Wildlife-friendly farming

Our Prime Minister, David Cameron, will vote this week on how the European Union is to spend our money. Farming, food and wildlife will be on the agenda.

How will Mr Cameron use his influence in Europe? Will he support farmers who make space for nature alongside food production? The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) urges us to write to Mr Cameron, asking him to Vote for Nature on our behalf.

About argylesock

I wrote a PhD about veterinary parasitology so that's the starting point for this blog. But I'm now branching out into other areas of biology and into popular science writing. I'll write here about science that happens in landscapes, particularly farmland, and about science involving interspecific interactions. Datasets and statistics get my attention. Exactly where this blog will lead? That's a journey that I'm on and I hope you'll come with me.
