argylesock says… Another case of GM wheat (Triticum aestivum) growing where nobody expected it. That’s genetically modified wheat, also called genetically engineered (GE) or biotech wheat. This time, the unexpected GM wheat is in Oregon. If like me, you’re not very familiar with the States, you might like a reminder in this map. I wish this farmer, Bill Budde, success in his lawsuit against the biotech giant.
[Edit] Is this story true? It’s in the Huffington Post, word-for-word with the article linked to in the post I’ve reblogged here. But I haven’t yet seen any other reports of Mr Budd’s lawsuit.
